[CH] Watering Pepper Plants...

Hello Everyone!
I am brand new to growing, but a life-time lover of peppers. I planted
some Habanero, Jalapeņo, and yellow peppers this year. They have grown
enough the process of transplanting them over has started.... and a major
question has arisen! How much should I water them and how often? They are
very small right now, about 3 inches tall.
I have read past issues of this list, but couldn't find a direct answer.
(I have read about stressing the plants, etc.) What is my indication? The
soil is dry, or water them once a day, or.. ? (I also read a post that
mentioned watering them _twice_ a day on hot days in June and July?...)
Just curious, I live in Georgia and these little guys have made it this
far (since Feb.) and I just want to make sure that I take care of them.
Your comments are appreciated!
Thank you!
