On my last trip to the my local hot sauce shop, the shop owner gave me a sample bag of "Ass Kickin' Pretzels". I had purchased some "Ass Kickin' Chipotle Dip" and he thought that I might like the pretzels. I was a little hesitant to try the pretzels as they use habanero powder and I am not real fond of the heat or flavor of habs and was not to sure about trying these. I decided to throw caution to the wind and give them a whirl. I was pleasantly surprised as they were not extremely hot but tasted more like those ranch style, mustard pretzels that are available now, only with attitude. I ate the whole bag. I figure that a good recipe for ranch style pretzels with some of Calvin's powder might work. Anyone got something similar? We also sampled the Chipotle dip and tried it first without the hab powder, but it was mild that way so we added some of the powder and it got hot fast. We found that we could not eat all that much of it (making it good for dieting) and sampled it over three evenings. I was surprised that the dip had no heat without the hab powder as it was supposed to be a chipotle dip and chipotles have enough heat for me. Anyone else have any experience with this product? I noticed several other dips available and may try more of them. Dave "throws with mosquitos" Hendricks bvdrangs@enter.net http://www.enter.net/~bvdrangs/index.html Boomerangs are making a comeback!
