Today I bought two Habanero Plants that say they are new varieties. The first is from Puerto Rico and is called Sweet Flame, heavy yielding very spicy but mild 1" x 3/4" round cone form deep red peppers. The second is a Habanero Tree Pepper, perfect lantern shapes hang in multitudes, greens, oranges, reds hang gracefully. Fiery hot, sweet & flavorful train as 6' tree. Perennial if frost protected. Anyone know anything of these? Anyone grown them? I have grown Habs before even the sweet variety last year. These do seem to be new. Also received seeds from the Asian Vegetable Research & Development Center of C. annuum (1 variety) and C. sp (3 varieties) from the Philippines. Does anyone know of these. I have extra seeds if there are those interested trying these. Thanks for any input. Mary-Anne
