> Rocotos flowering madly, but no insect vectors about yet. C'mon Spring! This winter may have been so bad here lots of stuff died from cold, including even many on my covered/enclosed patio, but apparently it hasn't been unpleasant for rocotos. They've been flowering continuously (at a low rate), and fruits setting -- and it hasn't been me out there under the dripping roof doing any manipulations. At the moment, the red plant has at least 20 or so mature rocotos that are the largest I've ever seen. Most are at least 4.5" long and 2.5" diameter. Biggest number of rocoto fruits I've ever had, and by far the largest size of fruits, too. Maybe winter isn't as bad as I've always been believing. :-) --- Brent
