I got a mini-blowtorch for Easter (to use istead of a salamader). I used it to blacken the skin on a pepper, then put the pepper in a paper bag. 15 minute later the skin could be scraped off in no time. I remeber someone asking for an easy method to peel chiles, so this could be it, if you're only doing a few and don't want to fire up the grill. having fun with my blowtorch in Vienna, A. Bucsics
