I've used pots of about 24-28" in diameter for three years on my deck with
great results.  Bought them at Costco for cheap.  I had six pots last year
with three plants in each  - serranos, jalapenos, salsa peppers, chocolate,
purple, and red habs.  Had hundreds of healthy peppers
