>Rocotos flowering madly, but no insect vectors about yet. C'mon Spring!
> Regards, Cameron.
Hmmmm, my rocoto seeds sent me by a fellow list member (was that you, Cameron?)
are the largest seedlings of all I started. I started 72 seeds (12 varieties)
in a flat of 1 inch square containers and 18 are now prospering seedlings about
3 inches high.
Lesson #1 learned: 1 inch pots are only good for germination, lost too many to
dried out pots. Much too hard to keep needed moister level (not soaked, not
dry).
Lesson #2 learned: Propogation mat was best investment I've made.
Note to self: move to 4 inch pot 1 week after sprouting. Killing innocent
pepper plants is severly harming self karma and may piss of El Grande.
