After being disinfectected, they were fine on both occasions. Poor guy. I usually get in trouble taking them out at night, but an overnight in solution always seems to work. The one time I really had a problem was when I got a hair in my eye while I was cutting peppers and stuck my finger in my eye without thinking. It took a couple hours of soaking and changing solution to be able to put my contact back in. We have some coursely ground dried peppers which we got at the Farmer's Market in Madison that still retain enough of something that my usual method of measuring (grab a few pinches out of the jar) can cause severe pain in my eyes later. I was really caught off guard from that one. Steph
