<<2 Rooster Claws - Any one heard of these? The owner said that they > were the hottest chiles she had>> > I bought a rooster claw when I first moved to Austin. I hadn't seen them anywhere else before that. The plant is compact and bushy and fruits well. The chiles are small, sometime less than a 1/2", tapered and with a slight hook. They are very similar (if not the same) as the small, curved Unknown in the Chile Gallery at the chilehead site. They are surprisingly hot, though not the hottest thing around. A few will do quite well for a salsa. David Cook
