sounds like Una de Pavos ("Turkey Claws") For a look at it, go here... http://www.grafxweb.com/cybergarden/seed/una.html >I bought a rooster claw when I first moved to Austin. I hadn't seen them anywhere else before that. The plant is compact and bushy and fruits well. The chiles are small, sometime less than a 1/2", tapered and with a slight hook. They are very similar (if not the same) as the small, curved Unknown in the Chile Gallery at the chilehead site. They are surprisingly hot, though not the hottest thing around. A few will do quite well for a salsa. daniel laybourn http://www.grafxweb.com phone: 415-821-4056 Fax: 415-642-4869 and take a look at these web sites created & maintained by grafxweb.com http://www.grafxweb.com/cybergarden/ http://www.szyk.com/ http://www.historicana.com/
