Well, the rain finally stopped and I decided to transplant 4 of the pepper plants after they had hardened off for a few days. So I planted one cayenne, 2 yatsafusas and one super serrano. I planted them in their part of the patch, I gave them some fertilizer, a sprinkling of coffee grinds, a sprinkling of ground egg shells to keep those slugs away and I just checked them. Nothing has eaten the leaves yet and they are still standing. I also sprayed them with my homemade garlic-hot pepper bug spray (which has a little bit of Dawn liquid in it) and no bugs to be seen or any bug holes. Yeah. Last year after one day, and a spraying, their were several eaten leaves. So so far, so good. Monday I will transplant some Bolivian rainbows, chocolate habs, and a couple of others. I have them in their hardening-off stage right now. I also will be transplanting the tomatillo on Wednesday. It has 4 leaves now after Trev had ripped all the beginning leaves off of it. It is looking pretty healthy, considering. Anyway, just wanted to update y'all. RisaG, up here in NJ
