Bonjour Got back a couple of days ago from Paris. Not much to speak of as far as ChileHead related items, but let me tell you that the food and wine were extrodinary. Tasted some mustards that brought tears to my eyes. Fresh bread never tasted so good. The croissants were flaky and the coffee strong. I found one bottle of hotsauce in a grocery store and it was not impressive. The French, for the most part, are not real consumers of spicy food. The flavor of their food comes from the ingredients themselves. Well I've strayed off-topic too long. Anyone wanting to know more aboput the trip please contact me off-list. Getting ready for Seattle in June. I'll be there from June 17th til July 5 then I'm taking a couple of days to visit friend in Vancouver.
