Same for me, except that C. chinense and C. frutescens act nearly same as C. annuum (no big surprise, all three being so closely related and all). Habanero in particular is probably the first to die of them all, though fortunately other similar chinense cultivars last longer into winter (e.g. pimenta de cheiro, githeo miris). C. baccatum cultivars seem to be especially hardy to cold; I have gotten to the point of just expecting C. baccatum plants will survive any winter in which they don't get frosted too many times and never below about 28-29 degrees F. or so. --- Brent
