Odd. Pyrethrum wouldn't of itself be listed as not being for edible plants. Maybe it was the carrier itself -- some type of oil -- that made it not for edible plants. Either that or there is some other ingredient(s), in lesser concentration though higher importance, that is contraindicated for edibles, e.g. a systemic insecticide. If systemics are present, then you'll have to investigate that particular poison to determine if concentration in the plant tissues will be dissapated enough by harvest time for consumption of the fruits to be safe -- though in all likelihood it will be ok, especially presuming you washed the plants off immediately after spraying and before there was any significant chance for the poison to be absorbed into the plant. --- Brent
