Tongues of Fire II, our second annual hotluck, was held today. It was a burning success andd we're basking in the warm glow of large quantities of excellent food that folks brought. I believe we had 30 something people here. Weather was great....hot and humid but no one noticed. "The Bread" was most definitely a hit again!!!!! One of our poor newbies is still in shock after trying it. He had a slightly dazed look on his face for quite awhile. We had a drawing for folks eating a cube of the bread for a chance at one of our TOF-II t-shirts which stated on the back "I survived THE BREAD at TOF-II" along with a picture of flaming bread. I want to thank Jim for providing the bread...it is a winner and people enjoy the challenge. Had lots of sauces to sample. Had homemade Jalepeno Beer that someone sent. The real hit of TOF-II had to have been the rolled Chocolate Ice Cream Cake with Habaneros in the ice cream layer. We furnished this at the end and it most definitely caught some by surprise *grin*. One our other newbies was eating the cake and suddenly turned to his wife and stated " My little hanging down thing is on fire!". Anyway, everyone seemed to have a great time and it likely next summer will bring TOF-III Dean
