Hi all, (delurk mode) 1- Some weeks ago my mom has given me a nice chile plant as a present. It has soon began to set lots of chiles, first light green then purple and now turning yellow (should have red chiles at the end), fruit is 1/2" long and upright, and plant satlk has purple veins. any idea what these chiles are? 2- The funny thing is that if the dried flower remains on the chile it keeps that part of the chile light green. So it would seem that turning from one color to another is light dependant. Anyone else noticed this? Anyone has a chemical-phisical explanation? 3- I've just read in a gardening mag that parsley and string bean plants planted near chiles keep some bugs away from our beloved sons of El Grande. Anyone tried this? Alberto "friariello" Chinali chinali@dbbm.unina.it
