Well, kiddies, this is a NO chile recipe, strictly for Greeks, which if you were to add as many habs to it as you wish would certainly change it and make it more palatable to CH'ers...I did it with out any, and I must say, that it was superb, even without any chiles! Serves two. A Greek Chicken Dish( hey Chas Demas?) 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves 2 lemons, juiced 4-5 potatoes, peeled and cut up into chunks 1/3 cup olive oil...virgin,extra not required 1/2 to 1 cup of water 20 cloves of garlic, peeled, left whole oregano....and salt and pepper, fresh ground to taste Put the potatoes in a baking pan or dish large enough to hold them...mix the freshly squeezed lemon juice and the olive oil together and pour over the potatoes, sprinkle liberally with oregano, and the garlic cloves, and freshly ground pepper, and a little salt...cover and place in oven at 350F for about a half hour...check for potato doneness, and place chicken pieces on top of potatoes, sprinkle again with oregano, and back into the oven, add some water to cover and bake until the chicken has browned a little...stir it all around, and back in for another ten minutes until the othere side of the chicken has browned...remove, let sit for about five minutes and serve..the smell of the garlic and the lemon will drive you crazy, and you will burn your tongue, getting into it! Nwzt time I do it, I will add some heat, to see how that will change the dish....will that ruin it Chuck Demas? Cheers, Doug in BC
