You might consider having a chile "drawing" event or contest. Get some "roll ends" of newsprint or other free or cheap paper, sell folks a chance (1.00) to draw or paint chile peppers or related items on paper panels with colored markers (maybe can get these donated too) Then have the efforts judged. When my group did this it was pictures of wildflowers. We collected the drawings every two hours and had a panel of 'judges' select 3 winners 1-2-3 from that batch and gave them small prizes. The "1s" we put up on display and at the end of the weekend we chose a grand prize winner from all those firsts. It was fun for the participants and for us also. -- Andie Paysinger & the PENDRAGON Basenjis,Teafer,Cheesy,Singer & Player asenji@earthlink.net So. Calif.
