One of my chile books says to let them ripen & dry on the plant to get the best seeds. I have tagged my "seed peppers" on each plant with a twist tie so I won't forget and pick them. Ask me next year how well it works. I was wondering if there is something special that needs to be done to save seeds from plants. This year I've planted some jalepeno, Anaheim Chili, Czechoslovakian Black and some Habanero (unknown type). Should I let them overrippen on the plant and then what type of cleaning/preserving should be done. Any help on this or where I can find the info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Ron
