It was introduced by Petoseed last year and quite a few retail seed companies have it in their catalogs. According to a Petoseed spokesman it tested at over 470,000 Scoville Units which would put it right up there in "Red Savina" country. Unlike the "Red Savina" it is not patented. It is an open pollinated Chile, so you can save seeds from it. According to Petoseed it was grown through 10 or 11 generations before introduction to be sure that it bred true. I have seen it in catalogs as" Caribbean Red" and "Caribbean Hot". Dave Anderson Tough Love Chile Co. http://www.powernet.net/~chilehed1
