[CH] Red Savina Habanero powder

We recently took delivery of 25# of Red Savina Hab powder ($370!) for our Smoked Jamaican Jerk Chicken.  Over the past few years we've tried several Habanero products from several vendors - fresh, whole dried, flakes, powder.  

This batch of hab powder is nuclear.  We prepped our first batch of rub last week and the first round of finished product hit the tables earlier this week.  The cooks need gas masks to mix a batch of Jerk rub.  All our regular jerk-freaks have cornered me this week accusing me of doubling the pepper content J  The flavor and aroma are also outstanding.  

If you're into high octane w/ lots of flavor check out GNS Spices - 800-870-6657.  They have a $50 minimum but they might be able to tell you where you can get smaller quantities.  And if you're ever in Tahoe and you don't mind sweating while you eat ? ;->
