....Speaking of grills, I bought one for my husband for Father's Day from
Lowes (kinda like a Home Depot/Chase Pitkin/whatever) that is a beauty.

It is a Char -Griller/smoker grill, I believe made right here in the good
U. S. of A in Georgia and is a barrel type.  It has a wood rack on the
bottom, shelf on front and side, a temp gauge, a stove pipe out the lid,
and cast iron grates, warming shelf.  You can buy a rotissere attachment
and a side fire box along with a grill cover.  It holds the heat really
well and is fairly easy to regulate.  The area where you put the charcoal
is a curved peice of sheet metal that has handles on either end so it is
easy to hoist out and dump.  We love it.  Heavy, durable and around  $140.

We leave our grill on the back patio year round so that we can use it when
the mood strikes.  I bet the smell of grilled steak wafting through the
neighborhood in the middle of January drives people crazy!
