....Speaking of grills, I bought one for my husband for Father's Day from
Lowes (kinda like a Home Depot/Chase Pitkin/whatever) that is a beauty.
It is a Char -Griller/smoker grill, I believe made right here in the good
U. S. of A in Georgia and is a barrel type. It has a wood rack on the
bottom, shelf on front and side, a temp gauge, a stove pipe out the lid,
and cast iron grates, warming shelf. You can buy a rotissere attachment
and a side fire box along with a grill cover. It holds the heat really
well and is fairly easy to regulate. The area where you put the charcoal
is a curved peice of sheet metal that has handles on either end so it is
easy to hoist out and dump. We love it. Heavy, durable and around $140.
We leave our grill on the back patio year round so that we can use it when
the mood strikes. I bet the smell of grilled steak wafting through the
neighborhood in the middle of January drives people crazy!
