Thanks to this list, I am now looking at my first hot pepper harvest. I needed chiles that could be grown in a pot, and wanted something I couldn't buy in the grocery for $1.49 a pound. So when I saw these Carribean Hot plants in June for $.29 each, I bought two. They're now about 18" tall, and have about a dozen fruits each ranging in size from large grape down to miniscule, and still flowering. Two have the habanero shape and are nearly the size I see in the markets. It is all I can do to keep myself from picking one prematurely to check out the flavor and heat. How long will I have to wait until one is red, or even orange? I noticed a few letters mentioning Carribean Hots which have already ripened. I can't wait! Anne
