With explosive results :-) Most chiles have way too much water for the paper towels to absorb. The seeds are also prone to heating and bursting, much like popcorn. Pretty messy and will drive you out pretty quick. If the pod is not slit first, it too will burst impressively. Just use your oven set on a low temp & be patient.
