No I wouldn't agree Cameron of the 200+ varietes we grew last year very few had upright growing pods. (Pods growin up, above, on top and clear of the bush) see descriptions on our web site. From my poor memory I think The Japanese Rooster's Claw was the most spectacular - great bunches of upright pods We also have a strange variety that has upright pods in winter but pod grow hidden under the foliage in summer (it fruits heavily all year) Michael Bailes.
