Dear fellow CH's, Disaster befell me yesterday afternoon. The peppers in the garden were looking great, as were the tomatoes. I had decided to hold off on some "bulk" harvesting until later this week and let the pods gain a little more size. Yesterday afternoon, however, we had a monster hailstorm come through and it looks very bad for the garden. The tomatoes probably won't make it, the peppers incurred significant damage as well. I did go out in the mud/hail (It looked like snow and was several inches deep) and picked as much as I could. Anything that was close to being ripe got to enjoy a trip indoors. It goes to show the dangers of our collective gardening passions! Greg
