I recently had a visit to a local nursery in NM (rowlands) and came across a wonderful ornamental pepper. The peppers were 1.5 - 2 inches long and grew upright. The interesting thing is that they had the most intense puple I have ever seen. I've run across some varieties that had tinges of purple and even large amounts with a dull purple but never the intense brilliant color that I saw. They later turned red as they ripened. Does anyone have any information on this variety. I suspect NMSU has developed another masterpiece to go with sunrise, sunset.... but I'm not sure. Does anyone have information on this variety. I'm very interested in finding out the name and a seed source. Hope someone can help. Tom
