Tony,

The Rocoto seeds I've sprouted in the past took forever to germinate.
It seems like some of them took from 4 to 6 weeks to germinate, and that was
after a 10% bleach bath and salt peter solution treatment. Everything about
Rocotos is slow. Not only do they take forever to germinate, they also take
forever to flower. When the finally do flower, it takes them forever to set
fruit. When they finally do set fruit, they take forever to ripen from
green to red, or yellow, whichever the case may be. I've grown several
varieties of Rocotos in the past, and right now, with very limited results.
I suspect it may be the climate here in Texas- too hot. I hope you have
better luck with them.

How long do these puppies normally take to sprout?

I've planted a few about 2 weeks ago and still no sign of activity - my
other
seeds have all sprouted fine - normally within a week or week and a half.

Are there any special needs? They're on a heat bed in a mini green house.

Thanks,
Tony
