Just a quick pepper anecdote...went to the House of Blues here in Chicago for lunch with a group of folks.  I've eaten there before, and the food is decent, but not extraordinary.  Anyway, ordered the jambalaya and, to my delight, it came with a perfectly orange habanero perched right on top.

The waitress us a warning about not attempting to eat the pepper, but two of us did anyway - yum!
