Might as well put my 2 cents in. I have never used them there expensive fancy lights so can't comment on them. Have had good to excellent results with flourescent. Some tips for flourescent lights: (A) Leave them on 24 hr. a day and rotate plants under for 12 hr.. shifts. The bulbs and ballast last longer by as much as 35% if you don't turn them off and on every day. This also lets you have more plants at on time. You can make a cart with castor or use a wagon to take the hassle out or the shifting. (B) Regular bulbs work just as good as the "grow light" bulbs and cost 75% less. A better use of the money is to buy more lamp fixture to give more light. (C) Keep the bulbs close to the plants, only an inch off the leaves. The higher the light is from the plant the less usable light it will get. Also the bulbs are brightest in the middle. So rotate end plants to center about once a week. ======================================================= Uncle Steve's Hot Stuff 1998 product list is available by auto response Email to: mailto:hot.chiles@usa.net =======================================================
