Tonight, I am making chili, (gotta say it is great!!!, thanks to Calvin and Jim the Pepper Man) You may remember, you may not. Last week, I bought a big batch of tasteless, heatless jalapenos. Well, in using up the peppers on the shelf tonight, I grabbed a wrinkled pepper left from the last heatless batch. It's hot!!! What's the deal? Do they get hotter when they're getting dry and wrinkled?...or did I just get one hot pepper in a big batch ? Inquiring mind wants to know, Michelle in KC
