Long time (3+ years) subscriber, but haven't posted in some time. No, not an impulse wedding... my Chile gal (Tristan) and I met years ago in Dallas, she grew up in New Mexico... and I started my Chile-quest before I met her :) We live in Seattle now but are having our wedding in Vegas to ease the family flights in. Of course, we were too foolish to realize we selected Spring Break weekend when we pulled a date off the calendar 3 months ago :) Anyway, we have found some great Cuban+Mexican combo food in Las Vegas on a few visits (I'm working in Northwest Arizona and the Vegas is the closest airport). However, we have found the food Cuban+Mexican food to be very salty... I like salt, but you know what I mean by too salty? Great food, but wanted to find something a little better. Seemed like too many choices for the few visits we had... Anyone recommend a great Mexican / Chile oriented place in Vegas? We are seeking cheaper food, not fancy, we want authentic family food. Not afraid to venture in the bad parts of town :) Just don't tell anyone that my 1967 VW Bus doesn't have any way to lock the driver's door while you are in it :) Any recommendations?
