> 32 Jiffy pots nicely fill one 10 gal aquarium. :) >I've plexi lids cut for the tops of the tanks to hold heat and > moisture in, but then can let out (moisture) as necessary. Watch out for those Jiffy pots. I won't use them after last year's experience. They aren't worth the hassle of watching the moisture like a hawk. They soak up moisture from the soil, and mine had mold grow on the outside. Cutting back on watering to keep the mold in check meant that the plants started to wilt. The mold was easy enough to wipe away, but it kept coming back. If the seedlings get root bound, you have to water more often, exacerbating the problem. Then I lost the supposed benefit of putting the plants pot-and- all into the ground because I didn't want to put unidentified mold into the garden. They are not worth the hassle. And, no, a fan circulating air didn't help in the least. Scott... not a fan of Jiffy pots in... KCK
