Hi Ole,
I met the guy who makes the stuff at a craft market in Hout Bay, Cape Town a
couple of years ago and he told me the chiles he was using were serranos,
grown up North in ( I think) the Tzaneen area.

label says it's made in CapeTown and as it's 3 indgridience names
