My chile pepper seedlings are suffering from an infestation of aphids. I've been trying to kill them with pyrethrins (sp?), but it's very difficult to spay the underside of leaves on plants that are only an inch or two tall. They're in the basement, where they'll be for at least another month, so I don't think I want to unleash a colony of ants or lady bugs. I'm going to transplant a bunch of the larger seedlings this weekend. In the process, I'll probably have to manually knock all the little critters off. It would be nice if I could just dip the seedling in some sort of safe pesticide while I transplant. Any suggestions? Mike Benson
