> What would be the best way to store them until then? > Sure, cool and dry, but any special tips? Nope, cool and dry is all I ever shoot for, and I get good results, 80%+ germination on seeds that are several years old. I keep some in the original paper envelopes, some opened packets in plastic bags and some just sitting on the paper plates I dried them on. It doesn't seem to make much difference how you store them as long as you adhere to the cool and dry policy. I think that of more importance is how the seeds are selected and prepared. I only save seeds from mature pods, remove seeds and place in a bowl of water, stir, keep the sinkers and ditch the floaters, pat dry on paper towels, let dry completely on paper plates, put in marked paper envelope and store away from heat/humidity/direct sunlight.
