[CH] Reminder- Birthday Bash and Hotluck

On Saturday, May 20, 2000, I will be having my sometimes annual Birthday
Bash (58th).
What I propose is to have a combined Mini "Q" Fest and Hotluck.
This event will take place at The Paynes Prarie State Preserve at
Micanopy, Florida.This is a very nice facility.
The Preserve is located about 1½ miles north of Micanopy, on US 441. The
site is within 4 miles of exit 73 on I-75. There is a covered pavilion with
tables and seating, running water and indoor facilities.
I will provide the meats and a couple of other dish's and cold drinks.
Qer's can bring a side dish if they wish (optional) and Chiliheads may bring
a hot dish (also optional).
I usually have around 100-150 people show up at these Bash's, so there
will be plenty of folks to talk to.
The menu will include, brisket, pork butts, chicken, sausage links and
maybe some spares, if the price is right. Bake beans, Swamp Cabbage,
coleslaw, Banana Pudding and Hushpuppies, along with anything we can beg,
borrow or steal.
There is an inexpensive Motel, Scottish Inn at the I-75 exit, also plenty
of places in Gainesville (12 miles north).

directions and motel info, if needed.
