[CH] Rocoto and mediterranean sun rays

I live in southern Italy where, even if the temperature wasn't too high, the sun-rays are very strong.
Last March I sowed some Rocoto seeds and now I have about a dozen of seedlings. May I expose the plants to full-sun light as I made until now?
May I transplant Rocoto seedlings in the garden with the same sun exposition as the others chile plants and vegetables? Can tell me anybody how much large is the water requirement for capsicum pubescens?
