>Delete any message with an ILOVEYOU Subject Line! This virus has shut down >half a million computers today. The Chile-heads list may be infected! > Why do you say this? The list isn't a computer, it's software. It can't be infected. While it could be used to forward the virus, I have substatial controls on what can be posted to the list; no attachments are permitted and if posted, will not be distributed to the list members. While I don't promise they are invincible, they have worked quite well so far. I also (see the Monthly Posting) try to discourage posting that deal in computer virus warnings. There are better places for such items and discussions. Chile virus's, however are welcome (well, discussions about them, that is!). Note that many email systems have already banned messages w/the subject words ILOVEYOU so many systems may not even see this message, given the subject. thanks Mike -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Mike Bowers Owner, Chile-Heads list chile@wiley.gsm.ucdavis.edu Chile Heads: http://chileheads.netimages.com/
