The April 14 issue of Science has an article about a mouse that has been genetically modified to not have the capsaicin receptor; it "no longer avoids the spicy Habanero pepper". As if ground hogs weren't enough, now we have to protect our plants from mice. What is this world coming to? back to lurking....
