Good morning list, I have some good news to share with those of you in and around Sydney. I had the good fortune to attend Paddy's Market at Flemington on Saturday. I saw many varieties of chiles for between $10-$15. I had cause to venture to this locale based on some good advice from Tara. Thank-you Tara. The good news is - they have orange Habs at the moment for $5 per kilo (about 2.2 pounds for those using imperial measurements). You can buy a 2.5 kg box for $9, yes $9. With what I grow at home and my $9 box I now have enough to see me through the winter - I hope. I'm now trying to convince my SO (like SandyO she is of the moderate persuasion) to try to find the freezer space for another box - you never know when you will need 2 or 3 kilos of habs! I know some of you will be saying freezing is not the best storage method but I am yet to locate a dehydrator. Can anyone help with directions on where to get a good one, new or used? By the way to locate the stall, look at the ceiling. You will notice numbered yellow tags. Head for stall number 175. I spoke with the stall holder - he said he should have stock for about another 4 weeks. I have his phone number if anyone wants it. Mark from the Olympic City 'habanero - feel the power'
