OG = Organic Growing (Gardening etc)
I think manure tea is the best plant food out there. Contains every nutrient
a plant needs.
In a test for soil feeding.
Manure tea made by placing a 3 lb coffee can full of composted cow manure in
a leg of panty hose, and marinated in a 5 gal bucket with water for 1 week.
Application as a soil feeder. 2 oz per gal of water.
( 1 cup and 1/2 cup per gal is too much in pots)
Pricing
Assumes only the manure. Not the Capitol investment of a 5 gal bucket with
cover, price from
free to $2. Or the tossed panty hose.
If a 40 lb bag of composted cow cost $1.99,
Using above method, one can make 3 ea 4 gal batches from 5 lbs of cow
manure. At the 2 oz per gal application rate one can make 6,144 gal of
fertilizer, at a cost of $0.0000323892325 per gal.
( a break the bank price)
