A guy from the nursery told me that when the sun shines on the drops of water on the leaves of plants, it's like a magnifying glass and will burn. It sounds reasonable. But we don't get rain here in the desert during growing season. Squirrels got into one of my pepper patches and ate all the leaves off the red habs. One got so tangled up in the net, that he hung himself. heh heh heh ... sweet revenge. I'm ready to get out the gun. Thankfully, I have plenty more peppers that look healthy, but it's still so sad to see the little babies get eaten by rodents. http://home.earthlink.net/~socalsuz > >A friend of mine has a few plants next to her neighbor's garden.
