G'day HotHeads, Just took receival of a new curry book last week and had to extol its virtues to you all. I have about 10 other Indian cookbooks and am considering tossing all in favour of this little beauty. Called 50 great curries of India, it is very simplistic, directions are a cinch, and the author is a closet CH I'm sure. Look if you happen to be looking for that sort of thing you can find it on line at most bookstores, and I have a link for Amazon here http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0684803836/o/qid=960770617/sr=8-1/ref =aps_sr_b_1_1/102-6561626-1680916 Standard Disclaimers apply, but damn I'm gonna be cooking out of this baby for a while! Inside the cover is a double page spread of a chile drying paddock/field which made me get all teary. Hell I would have bought it just for that picture. Good section on Chiles giving some regional info and pictorials that I hadn't seen before. OK gotta go, there is a spice shop up the road that needs my attention. Later Mark E. in Oz
