I hope the Hot Luck at Jeff's went well this weekend. Sorry to have missed it. I had to take my father to O'Hare for his flight. I live in SW Wisconsin so we decided to come back thru Lake Geneva and Delavan. Coming thru Delavan we noticed a small Mexican Restaurant called Hernadez's. Having lived in Tucson, Az for many years before moving to WI I love and appreciate good Mexican food but it's tough to find around where I live. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was great and the salsas were and guacamole was fresh. Even better there was a small store attached where they sold Mexican food stuffs and liquor, including chipotles, canned and bagged, salsas, dried chiles, including Chile de arbols, Morditas, Mexican Oregano, Canela and more. Needless to say I went home with alot a stuff. My father's flying back in this Sat. , so my wife and are going down Friday spending the night in Lake Geneva and making Hernadez's the focal point of our trip. Gareth, I am growing tomatillos for the first time this year and the one's I have are really spindly too. I am surprised the three plants I have are doing as well as they are doing with all the wind and rain we've had lately. Hope your peppers are thriving.
