After having been out of circulation for nearly a year, I finally re-subscribed to the digest. It's good to see many of the same familiar names and all the new 'faces'. I've been off the list, but not off the chiles. I have some Super Cayennes, a couple of Habs, a Jalapeño or two, some unspecified Vietnamese chiles given to me by a friend of a friend that over-wintered quite well (we had a mild winter). New this year are a Fresno (it's been a couple of years and I'd forgotten how much I like them) and about 10 Caribbean Reds my wife brought home as seedlings from trials her company (Pan-American Seed) ran. Jim, this year, after using info from your Jamaican page, the chiles in the garden are outstripping the ones in pots. Thank You!! Amazing what 100 lbs of gypsum and a 'ton' of humus can do. Brent, that Dedo de Moça is in it's third year. It's not looking real well this year, but I did get some seed stock last year. It's the only one of my plants that survived the devastating freeze of a couple of years ago. If you'd like me to replenish your supply, drop me a line. The big news is this, a local Chinese take-out finally started making General Tsao's Chicken. Life is good! ____________________________________________ A bell's not a bell 'til you ring it A song's not a song 'til you sing it Love in your heart wasn't put there to stay Love isn't love 'til you give it away!
