Hi C-H's, Chet Bacon wrote: >"Still waiting for my rotocos to flower" - year 2 That is a long time, but not unheard of however. Do they form little buds which drop off before they become flowers? If you are feeding them with a chemical fertilizer maybe stop for a while and just give them water. Especially if they are profusely growing dark green healthy looking leaves, and putting on a lot of new growth. That said however, I am struggling with a rocoto I obtained from Calvin. He kindly selected a monster yellow pod from the rocotos he sometimes buys in bulk, and sent me some seeds from it. Only one germinated successfully. This plant has been pampered and fussed over since early March, but will not grow any larger than it's current 4" height. Periodically I pop it out of it's pot to examine the root system, but all seems to be in order there. My only guess is that when I transferred it from the peat cell in which it germinated to the first pot, I might have used a potting compost to which the plant was averse. It is slowly growing through this now; so we'll see if it picks up when it encounters the top soil. Or am I growing from a plant that was an F1 hybrid? -- --- Regards, Cameron.
