I used to eat Pickapeppa sauce alot. Its pretty tasty, but not much heat if any. 
  As for the date issue, I would check each sauce out by look and taste, not just by date. Most of these are so loaded with salt and vinegar they would last years. If it looks good and smells and tastes fine, I tend to ignore the dates.

I bought the same sauces this weekend in Amsterdam. The bottles look so cool! I really don't want to open them. But I've heard the good reviews and they made me curious so I'll try them soon. I also bought a bottle of Pickapeppa sauce and Crystal's extra hot sauce. Any remarks? And a can of S&W Chile Makin's Santa Fe style. It says it's made with Chipotle peppers. Anybody? And at a restaurant called Margarita's I got a free bottle of sauce from Chief Brand Products. It' s from Trinidad. I thought it had nice heat and flavor. BTW can you save a sauce for a long time? Even past it's purchase date? I'd hate to chuck some sauces out. Or is it my bad luck?
