Hi all !! Just to comment on a few of the topics that have been passing through here. I have been using a solution of 1 T. of Ivory dish detergent to a gallon of water. After spraying either my tomatoes or chile plants, I then rinse them off shortly there after as the soap kills the insects on contact and there is no need for the spray to sit on your plants. All my plants are doing well following this application. Chile Today, Hot Tamale makes a kettle chip called Habanero Cajun which has a nice heat to the them. They also make a Chipotle Romano Herb which is very nice although not the hottest, there is some noticeable spiciness to them. They both go for about $2.50 for a 5 oz. bag. Anyone have a good hot sauce recipe that has a life of more than 6 weeks. I'm looking to play with my chiles in this way but have only found ones with that much life to them. I am looking to use refrigeration as the predominant preseverer as I am leary of the others since I am not experienced. Also, anyone interested in swapping hot sauces drop me a line to my e-mail with "Hot Sauce" as the title and let's discuss. Be chile !! Mark
