Hi C-H's,

Karen asked:
1. What color is a roccoto when ready for picking?
2. How big do roccoto chiles get? I've a couple that grew to about three
inches two months ago and never got any bigger.

Quoting from "Peppers of the World" by DeWitt & Bosland:
"The pods are round, sometimes pear shaped, measuring about 2 to 3
inches long and 2 to 2.5 inches wide, but some pods as large as bell
peppers have been reported. The pods are green in their immature
state, maturing to yellow, orange or red."

The seeds I sent you Karen are from red and yellow rocotos.
